Pakistani seasoned wicket-keeper batsman KAMRAN AKMAL scored a double century knock in a match of domestic One Day Cup tournament against Habib Bank Limited (HBL).
Kamran is representing a departmental team WAPDA in the tournament. In his innings of 200 runs, he faced 148 balls where he scored 31 boundaries including 27 fours and 4 sixes. He batted with a massive strike rate of 135.14. In last month, he scored 150 in a domestic Twenty20 game and this time in 50 overs match.
The stunning batsman become 3rd Pakistani cricketer to score a double hundred in a List A game. The other 2 Pakistani players in the list are Mohammad Ali Niazi and Khalid Latif.
Alistair Brown from England is the only man to score two double-hundreds in List A cricket. He has the record of playing highest individual knock of 268 runs in List A cricket.
