Christopher James Jordan is a Barbados born English player who went to England on a sporting scholarship to Dulwich College to complete his formal education. He started playing county cricket in England and made his debut for Surrey in August 2007. He took 20 wickets in the County Championship and was named Surrey’s most promising young player of 2007. He is a right arm fast bowler and bats lower the order.

Chris Jordan suffered a back injury leaving him unable to play 2010 County season. He was released by Surrey at the end of 2012 following his below average form in the season. He then went to play for Barbados national cricket team and took 16 wickets for Barbados. In 2013 Sussex picked him up for the 2013 English season where he picked up his best championship bowling figures of 6-48 on debut against Yorkshire.

Chris Jordan chose to play for England and made his ODI debut against Australia in September 2013. On May 2014 he registered his maiden five wicket haul against Sri Lanka with figures 5-29. He later got picked up for the England’s test side against Sri Lanka in the same series and made his test debut in the first test match in June 2014 against Sri Lanka. He played 8 test matches and managed to score 180 runs in 11 innings at an average of 18 and picked up 21 wickets in 16 innings. He plays T20 cricket across the globe. He represented Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2016 and picked up 11 wickets in 9 matches. His current teams are Adelaide Strikers (BBL), Peshawar Zalmi (PSL), Sunrisers Hyderabad (IPL) and Sylhet Sixers (BPL).
