Which Cricketer has taken Most Catches in ODI Cricket?

The cricketer with the most catches in One Day International (ODI) cricket is Mahela Jayawardene, who took 218 catches in 448 ODI matches. Jayawardene is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played for the Sri Lankan national team from 1997 to 2015.

Jayawardene was a highly skilled batsman, scored 12650 runs in ODI cricket, but he was also an excellent fielder. He was known for his fielding skills in the slips, where he took many of his catches, and was also a reliable catcher in the outfield.
